Marcus' first career was in Business Strategy and Operations. Despite a successful-seeming career, Marcus felt he was only scratching the surface of interests in technology and psychology. In 2017 he won a coding competition for a tuition-free place at Makers Academy and secured funding to research Digital Mental Healthcare with the Churchill Fellowship. Marcus is now a Technical Lead and People Development lead at Softwire.
He loves working with technology and people to solve commercial business problems, such as how audiences engage with the BBC and how to better match blood cancer patients with bone marrow donors at Anthony Nolan.
