All about the role:

In short, you’ll combine your Software Engineering knowledge with the skills of a well organised Team Lead. Your team will be focusing on highly scalable internal systems managing a wide range of vital business processes.

As a mentor and team-builder, you are able to motivate and inspire your colleagues, helping them both develop their own skills, and drive the growth of our platform.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll also have the opportunity to:

  • Coach, motivate and inspire an Agile team of 5-8 team members.
  • Develop cutting-edge, scalable, flexible and high-performing systems
  • Work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master and the team to prioritise and deliver projects
  • Track and analyse bottlenecks in work processes and drive the implementation of improvements
  • Make sure that the technical roadmap and the product roadmap is in harmony and serves a common goal
  • Provide continuous feedback and conduct performance review with team members
  • Contribute to our growth by helping recruit, interview and onboard new starters
  • Collaborate with other Team Leads to share best practices and knowledge 

Can you deliver?

Ready to bring our capabilities to the next level? Then we’re hoping you can tick these boxes:

  • 5+ years as a Software Developer, with at least 3 years of experience leading a team of 4+ members
  • Able to build a positive team environment in which people feel valued and driven
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Java (Spring), Javascript (NodeJS, Vue.js/React), MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes
  • The ability to actively foster collaboration, create transparency and gain trust
  • Can empower the team to deliver remarkable outcomes without pushing for goals, decision making without the team or micromanagement

  • Confident in collaborating and communicating with non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluent English (written & spoken) and good communication skills
